I personally have 6 different cash cards, and the accountnow visa is the one I find myself reloading time after time. I cant get a checking account and this little sucker saved my life. Im so glad there are alternatives for people like me.. I give this card a HUGE Thumbs up and would recomend it to everyone. the accountnow visa is probably the best financial solution for my situation.

how is this not a credit card? it doesnt have any apr and stuff like that, i know its “prepaid” but dont these cards still need to have apr or how does this card benifit from having customers? i worked for a credit card company and all i know is that credit cards companies cant make any money without charging APR and tons of late fee’s and stuff. I would like to get one of thses but for many reasons im not sure if this is a safe idea…. is this a scam?? does anyone actually have this card????? I wish i could hold one in my hand before giving all my information.. Do they use your information to give to solicitors? do you get signed up for anything automatically? I guess the best question to ask, is, Is this thing legit???? also, would this be a good idea for a teenager and college student? I do NOT like credit cards, and I hate using my debit card on my checking. I would rather keep things simple with copys of my checks, but there are things out there that you can only buy with credit cards and this is why I got this account now card. I use it for online purchase’s and i’m thinking about getting another for my utility bills. I think this is a good card. The activation fee is worth it and then I never see other fee’s on my bills. It works good for me.

OK, there are a couple things good and bad I would like to say about this card… The account now visa card is a great option as a cash card if need to get a prepaid card, for 3 main reasons….

1. It has free direct deposit just like you would have with checking account.

2. It’s less expensive to get cash with this card than any other visa cash card I have found:
The atm fee is $2, BUT if you make a purchase, you can pick “debit” on the payout screen, and you can choose how much cash you would like withdrawn from your account, and the transaction AND the cash withdrawl only cost $1 instead of the $2 ATM fee.

3. Most of the cash cards have transaction fee’s of upwards of $2 per transaction! The account now visa card doesnt charge any transaction fee UNLESS you choose debit at the clerk and enter a pin for a cash withdrawl.

4. The only downfall I can find about my account now visa card, is the activation fee of $20, which in my mind, is a worth it, because there are NO monthly or anual fees.

I have quite a few of these cards, and I think the account now visa card is the best one.
